High Key/Low Key

My view:

Experimentation and Patience is super important. I also learned the value of light. Durin this assignment I had to keep moving my objects around the light as well as myself in order to get the "perfect" light hitting my object. Also, trusting your gut is essential in choosing the picture to tell the story.
The Camera's "correct view:

As much as the camera is smart at taking pictures, I can do better. :)

Numbers Galore

There are numbers EVERYWHERE...even the ones you have to make up. I think it was harder trying to photograph numbers consecutively than randomly. Either way you look at it, it was a fun project despite the counting items constantly and staring at byu signs in the parking lot.

1 ball of glass
 12 eggs
 81 reflections
 2 eyes of glory
55 dollars to get this pair of shoes
 5 fingers through eyes
76 ways to punch a locker
21 years of age to drink beer (not that I would ever do it)

P.S. Its a rootbeer bottle. :)

Two shots more

I learned the joy of editing pictures in lightroom. It's pretty easy to edit pictures and pretty basic if the shot is done nicely the first time.

Goals

Goals, goals, goals...

Why do I want to take this class? Simple. I want to be a photographer.
I am the daughter of a florist and I see the beauty of photos that come from the photographers in the area that I live in. The shots are breathe taking, spectacular and downright amazing.

I want to learn everything I can about photography and by the end of the semester having a greater knowledge of photography. :)

The goal is simple but the will is strong.
